A student will drop off his chromebook to my Tech Intern students and tell them it doesn’t hold a charge. The Tech Intern students start to problem solve. Was it a bad outlet or bad charger? Is the battery not connected or going bad? Could it be the charging port or motherboard?
This is one of the common problems these students see each day. Other times they may have to quickly run to a teacher’s classroom to see why the smart board won’t respond or to the elementary lab to change a cartridge in the color printer.
I love the fact that these students are using their minds to solve problems and physically making the fix. This hands-on class is beneficial to their classmates, teachers, and themselves.
