Two Battle Lake FFA members placed in the top three individually at the Agricultural and Natural Resources Activities Day at the University of Minnesota Crookston on December 6th.
Elizabeth Radermacher placed second out of 38 contestants in the Soils Evaluation Career Development Event (CDE) and Katie Christensen place second out of 33 contestants in the Farm Management CDE. Both girls were awarded plaques and $600 scholarships to the University of Minnesota Crookston. The Battle Lake Soils team consisting Elizabeth, Kyliegh Shebeck, Kyler Leabo and TJ Underhill also place first out of 10 teams.
Over 950 students from Minnesota, North and South Dakota participated in this year's ANR Activities Day.
